China has become the "world factory", the world's biggest construction site, as well as the biggest growth market for many foreign product and service providers. With recent changes in the economy, China is transforming itself to put less reliance on export. Tertiary industries, for example financial services, education, healthcare, and environmental protection are strongly supported by the government. Domestic consumption continues to grow.
