Data Protection Policy
Williams & Associates Limited makes every effort to comply with data protection legislation, in particular the protection of individuals with regard to processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, but also any other applicable national legislation on data protection. To comply with this legislation, our firm has established and implemented a Code of Conduct on Data Protection. All our offices comply with the stringent standards of this Code and we request our clients to respect the same safeguards.
The main principles of our Code of Conduct on Data Protection are:
- We only register data for the purposes of our executive/director search and management appraisal activities.
- Candidates¡¯ data can be transferred to other Williams & Associates offices, our partners and clients. We will always obtain from candidates a level of consent before sharing personal data with clients.
- Individuals who send their unsolicited data will be informed that such data will be registered in our databases and can be transferred to other offices of Williams & Associates unless the individual objects.
- We take appropriate state-of-the-art, technical and organisational security measures to protect data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, improper alteration or unauthorized disclosure or access.
- Individuals whose personal data have been processed by our firm have the right to obtain the following information:
- whether or not data has been processed;
- the purposes of the processing;
- We request that our clients acknowledge that they adhere to the same standards of data protection.
